I want to archive conversations Merged

As a teacher I miss several functions in the improved message system that would make it more useful and safe for me to use. As I teacher i get hundreds of messages a week from students. It is alread impossible for me
to manage my messages as it is.
All modern message tools have the possibility to either delete or archive conversations. It is a common function that is well know by users.

I would like the possibility to archive conversation - It is makes me freak out not being able to delete every short message from student and trying to locate the ones that are important.
These functions would save teachers oversall a lot of time using the message system without transforming it to a mail system.
