Please share your ideas with the community, and contribute by voting and commenting on other ideas – the more votes the more influence! We consider all ideas when planning future work. Please write in English. For support, please contact your school/organization.

  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.
  3. Unclear or inappropriate suggestions are removed. We may combine your ideas with similar ideas.
  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.
    • Ideas that have no public engagement after three years, that were not selected for development, are removed.
    • Ideas older than three years and not selected for implementation are removed.
    • Ideas can be resubmitted at any time.

When copying pages, allow more options

When i copy a page from course to course, I would like a checkbox for "remain linked" through the library, so that if i want to create my own copy i don't have to do that separately. I would also like the option to copy a resource to multiple other courses at once, intead of copying one at a time to each additional course.

    and it’s frustrating when I make the copy and update in one class and forget to update a word or something in another for the copies version!

    There should, at minimum be the option: 1) copy page as linked / 2) copy page as unlinked. "Creating own copy" every single time I copy a page has cost me literally hundreds of hours of wasted time this year!

    And while copying pages it would be great, when linked pictures are copied too, because if the official owner moves the picture its is deleted in all copys.

    Hi

    Thanks for your input. It is not something we are actively working on at the moment, but we'll take this into consideration in future discussions on how to copy and share resources in an efficient way. We will share it with the relevant teams and also keep the suggestion on the ideas portal to see if it gets more ‘up votes’. This helps us understand which ideas are most popular.
