National sharing of tests

Today it is difficult to share tests outside the county or municipality. This would be nice  since all schools share the same national learning objectives, and should therefore be able to use tests interchangably.

Downloading tests as files (as supported presently) and share them on a national site is hard to organize, as Hordaland Fylkeskommune in Norway has experienced. It would be better if teachers had the option to share their test inside ITS in a national database. Tests should be organized by learning objective and level. Learningobjetive-categories should be the same nationally and implemented by ITS. Alternatively, but less optimal, test questions could be categorized by textbook and chapter.

With this resource, creator could be offered premade tests or questions based on the learning objectives he ads to his test. Offered questions or complete tests could be sorted based on popularity (number of times used/downloaded), relevance, or (depending a ranking-system) rank by users.

    Hi Frank,

We are working hard to finalize a new mobile friendly, shareable test tool. The updated test tool will make creating and sharing tests easier. You can share tests you have created and schools can share standard tests with just their teachers. We’ve designed it with mobile devices in mind and it will offer all the features of our existing test tool (and more), but work as well on touch devices as on desktops. We’re really excited about this and work hard to finalize it.

Please follow the latest release estimates on the roadmap: http://www.itslearning.eu/roadmap
