Please share your ideas with the community, and contribute by voting and commenting on other ideas – the more votes the more influence! We consider all ideas when planning future work. Please write in English. For support, please contact your school/organization.

  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.
  3. Unclear or inappropriate suggestions are removed. We may combine your ideas with similar ideas.
  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.
    • Ideas that have no public engagement after three years, that were not selected for development, are removed.
    • Ideas older than three years and not selected for implementation are removed.

Mobile App directs to browser

When I open the mobile app, to see course or course content the app direct me to browser and I can see the content on browser. I think, If the app was sufficient to see everything inside, it would be better than directing browser.

    Hi,

    Today the native app features the most used tasks in itslearning, and that requires a transition from the app to the platform.

    We are always working on enhancing the itslearning native app. As part of this work, we are looking into how we can make the transition from the app to the platform run as smoothly as possible. So please stay tuned – change is coming :-)

    Hi - the latest version of the App (iOS and Android) uses the build in browser. This went live on September 9th.

    There are many native apps that have built in browsers for portions of the service that are not built as app functionality yet. For example, when I go into my AT&T cell plan management app, I can access details on my plans and usage, but if I want billing details or I want to make adjustments to my plan, when I click on that button, it takes me to the AT&T website inside a basic, built-in browser. Even though building in full functionality to complete tasks in the app would be helpful, this would actually make it significantly easier and is a good step to get us half way there while the app is being developed more.
