Landing Page in Course: more Choices

I would love to have the choice to define a different landing page for each course for staff und students. While students might start at a certain page giving them information about this course, teachers might need to start at the Ressources or the Update page or...

This applies especially to courses with several teachers and general tasks that do not apply for a single class or term.

This seems not necessary for the App.

Thank You

Hi and thanks for sharing your idea.

We aim to offer different courses that can be tailored to different educational needs and pedagogical approaches.

When creating a new course, teachers and administrators can currently choose between two course focuses:

    • Subject

    • Self-paced learning

Each course focus will support multiple layouts, defining which features and tools are included, how they are presented, and the structure of the course menu. Initially, a default layout will be available for each type, with additional layout options and courses to be introduced later this school year.

For now we have not planned to introduce different landing pages for different roles, but we might vary a bit the information we show for teachers and students when entering their courses.

    Thanks,
    the itslearning Product team
