Importing users to Group Conversations

While it's useful to send one-way mass messages to users. To create a Group Conversation / Group Chat - I believe users still need to add each chat member individually. There is no way for admins to create group chats from a course.

It would be great to be able to create a Group Conversation from the participant list of a course. It would be additional helpful if the group chat automatically updated with any any changes to the participants in the course (i.e. adding or removing participants.)

Also, there are cases in which teachers need to have chat groups consisting users from across different hierarchies and groups and so it would be useful to be import a .csv to create a group conversation. Of course, the .csv would only like with a list of existing and active users but that would save time from having to create new groups and hierarchies.

Hi, it is a great idea. While messages/chat isn't currently on our roadmap, we really appreciate the idea and will keep it in mind for future updates. We'll be sure to revisit this as we continue evolving our platform.

    Thanks,
