Help shape the future of itslearning

Please share your ideas with the community, and contribute by voting and commenting on other ideas – the more votes the more influence! We consider all ideas when planning future work. Please write in English. For support, please contact your school/organization.

  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.
  3. Unclear or inappropriate suggestions are removed. We may combine your ideas with similar ideas.
  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.
    • Ideas that have no public engagement after three years, that were not selected for development, are removed.
    • Ideas older than three years and not selected for implementation are removed.
    • Ideas can be resubmitted at any time.

Change the behaviour of the editor when it comes to pictures.

The editor offers nice working with tables, videos and audio. But we would like to have this when it comes to pictures:

* I would like to add a picture from a Webcam (like Videos or Audios). This would help a lot when it comes to byod.

* Moreover I would like to have a contextmenu (right mouse button) to scale a picture and set its border properties (like tables). This would help teachers a lot who cannot use the HTML-source to scale an image or reject to scale it outside the itslearning.

* Finally I would prefer the filebrowser to show me the files associated with the current course in the first place (not my web files). This is an impression I get from teachers in virtually every training session.

Hi, you can now enter a specific width and height of an image from the ‘Image properties’ dialogue in the rich-text editor. This will size your picture exactly as you want it. To see the ‘Image properties’, simply right click an image in the editor. You can also drag the corners or sides of the image to resize it.
