Please share your ideas with the community, and contribute by voting and commenting on other ideas – the more votes the more influence! We consider all ideas when planning future work. Please write in English. For support, please contact your school/organization.

  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.
  3. Unclear or inappropriate suggestions are removed. We may combine your ideas with similar ideas.
  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.
    • Ideas that have no public engagement after three years, that were not selected for development, are removed.
    • Ideas older than three years and not selected for implementation are removed.

Privacy Policy

Increase the number of registration event from 20 to 100.

We would like to use the registration tool for students to choose between multiple events on a certain day.  We would like to be able to have 70-100 events that our school could choose form.  Currently, the registration tool will max out at 20 events.

    Hi, in the next itslearning update we’ve done some nice changes in the Registration tool:

    • We’ve increased the limit for number of options, so it is no longer restricted to 20.
    • The registration tool will show up in the task list and reports, and can be used as part of a learning path.
    • If the teacher has allowed editing, students can now not only edit, but also remove their choices in our registration tool. This way they can free up seats they are not going to use.

    I also need the max number of events to be increased. I mean, it's changing a couple of digits in one line of code, I presume... and if the teacher would like to sacrifice overview... why not let them?

    We had a similar problem like Nathan Grundahl. To make our students choose from all possible events we had to use additional paper lists to register (like before itslearning). That wasn't really satisfying:(

    Hi Thomas, we’re working on great enhancements in itslearning for back to school this year. Sorry to say, but the registration tool is not part of this work, and I sincerely doubt it will be. That said, please gather votes for your idea and we’ll have a look at it later on.

    We found it absolutely necessary to have a fast, stable registry tool that supports at least 100 Options for our local studying-orientation-day. Almost 800 students will have to choose from about 50 options per slot. I hope we can get enough votes that we can start with an advanced registry by August 2017.

    Hi,

    We set a limit for 20 options so students should be able to have an overview…if we had for example 100 options it would, for most students, be hard to keep an overview.

    We’ve been thinking about introducing categories for options, so we could have more options and at the same time keep the overview. However, this feature has not yet been prioritized or much asked for – but with more votes on your idea the chances increase :-)
