Add a question type 'choose from a list' to tests/surveys/polls etc.

It would be useful to add a simple 'choose from a list' type question to tests, polls, surveys and allow long lists to be copied and pasted into the editor.

At present the only way to add this type of question is to use the 'select from a list' which entails blanking lots of options.  Or Multiple choice.

This is time consuming and cumbersome especially if you have a long list and the blanking option is very confusing.

    Admin response

    Hi,

This is a good idea, and something we will consider when we implement this question type for our new test tool. Not quite sure how you envision this if you do not want to blank out fields. Improvements to survey and polls are currently not on our roadmap.

Dear Admin - thanks for being so upfront about what is and isn't on the roadmap. That helps with planning. It looks like there are great things coming up though! I'm excited for the new test tool.
