Please share your ideas with the community, and contribute by voting and commenting on other ideas – the more votes the more influence! We consider all ideas when planning future work. Please write in English. For support, please contact your school/organization.

  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.
  3. Unclear or inappropriate suggestions are removed. We may combine your ideas with similar ideas.
  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.
    • Ideas that have no public engagement after three years, that were not selected for development, are removed.
    • Ideas older than three years and not selected for implementation are removed.
    • Ideas can be resubmitted at any time.

Registration also for teachers

Registrierung auch für Lehrkräfte

Wir nutzen Kurse auch viel in Fortbildungen für Lehrkräfte oder zur Organisation im Schulalltag. Da sind Lehrkräfte mit der Rolle "Lehrkraft" in Kursen zusammen. Dadurch ergibt sich leider keine einfache Möglichkeit die Ressource Registrierung zu nutzen. Natürlich könnte man mit individuellen Berechtigungen arbeiten, was aber nicht immer zielführend ist und nicht intuitiv.

Eine Anpassung der Registrierung, damit per Mausklick auch jede Lehrkraft im Kurs, sogar man selbst, teilnehmen kann, wäre klasse.

We also use courses a lot in further training for teachers or for organizing everyday school life. There are teachers with the role "teacher" in courses together. Unfortunately, this does not result in an easy way to use the registration resource. Of course you could work with individual authorizations, but this is not always effective and not intuitive.

An adaptation of the registration so that every teacher in the course, even you, can participate with a mouse click would be great.

    Hi

    Thanks for your input. This feeds into an ongoing discussion in the product team related to permissions and how the different elements should behave. The solution today is - as you mention - to use the permission settings. By changing this simply to allow teachers to answer, we risk breaking some of the current functionality. So we would rather look at this from a general perspective for all element types.

    But we would love to know how much this is used in the wider community, please vote for this if you find it important!
