Please share your ideas with the community, and contribute by voting and commenting on other ideas – the more votes the more influence! We consider all ideas when planning future work. Please write in English. For support, please contact your school/organization.

  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.
  3. Unclear or inappropriate suggestions are removed. We may combine your ideas with similar ideas.
  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.
    • Ideas that have no public engagement after three years, that were not selected for development, are removed.
    • Ideas older than three years and not selected for implementation are removed.
    • Ideas can be resubmitted at any time.

Searching students from all courses (not only favorite courses)

When teacher searches student from "Your students" -menu the "All courses" -filter shows students only from the courses which include the star (favorite courses). It would be nice if the search would include also students from the older courses which aren't marked with the star. It would be perfect if there was different search filters in Your student -menu: "All courses", "Favorite courses" and "Archived courses" for example. We have lot of situations when student says that he have done some activities in the older courses and the student is not sure about the course name. If the teacher can search students from the older courses it's faster to search the right course if you find the student from the search and see the course listing of the student.

    Hi

    Thanks for your idea. "Your students" is intended for quick access to your current students, with an overview of ongoing courses. To search for students in other courses, we would recommend using the search found in the personal menu (click your name), this has an option for user search. We know this search feature is rather outdated, but would serve the purpose in this case.
    We'll keep the idea open for voting to understand the need.
