The attendance registration proces to start before lesson begins

It is a great wish on several of our education programs - especially the laboratory education and the laboratory technology education which uses expensive laboratories, that it is possible to start attendance registration 15 min. before a lesson starts - as opposed to now - where it only opens exactly when the lesson starts.

When a teacher shows up for the lesson well in advance, it will be nice to have the opportunity to start the attendance registration before the lesson starts.

The benefit is that we can start the attendance registration before the lesson and finish it, let's say 3 minutes inside the lesson. Instead of first being able to start the attendance registration in the class and finish it 10 minutes inside the class. Out of a 45 min lesson, just 5 minutes is a pretty big percentage to win. And multiplied by a week or an entire semester, we will be able to give students the confrontation time of several lessons.

    Hi

Thanks for your input. (For public reference - this applies to the newer attendance tool tailored for HE/FE customers.)
The attendance tool is not one of our current focus areas, but we do know that there are some great improvements we could make, such as what you are suggesting. This will be taken into consideration for future work.

    Thanks,
    The itslearning Product team
