Vital functions have been stripped from the new test tool, and need to be put back in:
1) Time limit for test.
2) A list of students who didn't take it
3) Import and export of questions.
All those three have, as far as I can tall, been removed. WHY?? They are very useful!
I would like these functions to be added:
1) Time limit per question ( a Kahoot-like interface for taking it together as a class would be wonderful)
2) A module/ level system so that passing one test (result over a given %) would give access to another, more advanced test.
3) Fullscreen-lock function, so students could not change to another program during the test.
4) The ability to import other teachers' tests (like in Kahoot and Quizlet)
But put back the old functions first!

I second these suggestions and I really look forward to getting back the option to see the list of students that didn't hand in the test!
Hi!
Lots of things in one here, so I opted for "Planned" for this... Note: We did not REMOVE anything. The new tool is built from scratch, so we just didn't get to it yet. We could not wait until we had developed absolutely everything before we allowed schools to start using it. We plan to rebuild almost all features from the old tool.
Time limit - will be available within a week or two
List of students who didn't take the test (yet) - planned
Import and export
QTI import is supported already
QTI export is planned
Copy directly from one test to another (new tool only) - will be available soon
Time limit per question - not planned
Passing one test gives access to another - available by using Learning path
Fullscreen lock - available using Testmode Browser (paid add-on)
Import other teachers' tests - if you have access to their test, this is available once copy of questions is in place. You can also share tests via the itslearning Library.
Thanks,
The itslearning Product team
