The assessment portfolio is a powerful tool, but the working portfolio needs some work. A first and easy step would be language consistency with the rest of the course.
Why does the current working portfolio state 'elements' if the course resources and planner so clearly talk of 'activities' and why 'tasks' if one of the course activities is already called a 'task'?
Wouldn't it be more intuitive to students and teachers if the first two tabs would be labled as:
Activities - for an overview of a student's interaction with course activities and the activities added to that by the student itself;
Personal plan - for personal tasks that the student sets itself for working on those activities (and other resources) in conjunction with the course's learning objectives.
