At school, most things are well organised. However, there is also room for improvement.
Education is becoming more and more digitised. Where people used to have to hand in their homework on paper, nowadays students do that all online. Due to the corona crisis, schools were closed for quite some time, which resulted in online lessons. Not everyone liked online classes. They had difficulty in showing motivation and concentration. 1)
Research shows that young people cannot work independently.2) 3) The online environment Gilde uses is ItsLearning. The principle of the site is clear, but it can sometimes be very confusing. To make all homework more manageable, it is a good idea to implement a planner in ItsLearning. Planning is very important, increases productivity and reduces stress. 4) The goal is to make the assignments still to be done clearer. The change will be mainly for the students, because teachers do not have to deal with homework. The risk that the plan has is that, because young people are not good at planning, they will not use it. To counteract this, a time indication should be included with the assignments so that a student can easily get an impression of when they should and could do what.
An alternative to a planner is 'Open task list'. In this tab, all open tasks are listed with a date. When you have finished the assignment, you can click on the assignment which will then take you to the assignment which is under a different tile. (In the 2nd year, the homework is under different tiles) In this way, you can hand in your files and keep a clear overview of the open tasks on one page.

Hi, thanks for your idea.
We already have a planner and a task list in itslearning. These days we are also releasing a new and improved version of our planner, teachers can already start testing it.
Thanks,
