Please share your ideas with the community, and contribute by voting and commenting on other ideas – the more votes the more influence! We consider all ideas when planning future work. Please write in English. For support, please contact your school/organization.

  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.
  3. Unclear or inappropriate suggestions are removed. We may combine your ideas with similar ideas.
  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.
    • Ideas that have no public engagement after three years, that were not selected for development, are removed.
    • Ideas older than three years and not selected for implementation are removed.
    • Ideas can be resubmitted at any time.

Option to change the names of the tabs and add them

Could we be able to change the names of the tabs on a course. Now we can change if a student sees a tab or not, but changing the names could also be useful in many cases. Like resources for example, in some cases course materials or "learning games" could be more informative, if that is what the folder actually contains.

In general a chance to change these would give more freedom to make the course more suitable for the purpose of the course and give chances to use different tools more creatively. I do not mind if the official names do not change in the teachers view and settings of the course. Just the names that the students see.

Also adding more resource tabs could be useful. For example, I could put games in one and discussions in other. This of course is not needed for older students, they find what they are looking for in one tab, but for younger it might be useful.

    Thanks for your idea. We currently do not have plans to customise the names of tabs/menus. We'll leave the idea open for voting to understand the need.
