Many teachers I work with confuse the "with penalty" and "without penalty" options. They mistakenly select "with penalty" b/c "without penalty" sounds like it's just a practice test. If you included examples under the options, teachers would clearly see the option they want (in our district 99% of the time it would be without penalty).

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately we are aware this is a bit unclear. We are considering how to improve the scoring logic for the new test tool, and hope that with improvements it will be easier to understand.
