  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.

Make Tasks and Assignments preview the same way as Announcements

On the "Updates"-Tab of ItsLearning announcements get a preview with the message of the announcement beeing (at least partly) displayed. New Tasks or Assignments on the other hand just show up like file uploads. This often buries them under other file uploads or announcements. Sadly this can lead to a scenario where Tasks or Assignments are not beeing used because Announcements are just more visible. It would be great if the notification of a new task in "Updates" would contain at least part of its text so that it is easier for students to notice and keep track of them.

I really think it is important because i do rely on the updates screen to keep me up to date on everything thats new. Right now it seems like announcements are just prioritised

    Hi

Thanks for your input. Tasks and assignments (and other activities) show up in the task list for students, and we would encourage students to use this as their reference for upcoming work. But we'll leave your idea open for voting and revisit it in the future.

    Thanks,
    The itslearning Product Team
