A couple of suggestions to facilitate managing members and groups, as I have a large number og students in some of my subjects:
1. Possibility to sort member list both by hierarchy and groups, in addition to name, role and last visit.
2. Possibility to add individual students to groups by right-clicking directly from member list.
3. When adding members to group from group list, it would help showing 100 members as default.
4. Possibility to show all members in addition to 25, 50 and 100.
5. Possibility to sort by role also when adding members to groups from group list.

I do agree.
And it would be perfect if teachers as per default got the view of only students instead of "all" in the participants-list.
Our teachers experience that the list is full of administrators and teachers that give a disturbed image when they want to get the list of only students.
