It would be nice for another participant role to be created for paraprofessionals, special education teachers, substitute teachers, or teachers assistants where they can help their students without being given access to create, delete, or edit actual resources. This way they could still view assignments for students but could not accidentally change settings for the students in the entire course. Currently they either can get the teacher role (where they can do EVERYTHING), the student role (where they can't see submissions of students that might be under their case load) or guest (where access is severely limited).

Hi!
This is already possible, but requires than an administrator creates a separate course role for this purpose.
Sincerely, the itslearning product team.
