Stream Line the flow to make it user friendly

I don’t wish to be negative however I have never worked with a system that had such poor navigation throughout it. It is not user friendly or simplistic in any way. It is very confusing and hard to operate. We as parents are having an extremely difficult time using the system. How does anyone expect the students to be able to operate it. This epidemic is beyond stressful for everyone but our children are being hit extremely hard in my opinion. They are mainly stuck inside and isolated unable to socialize with their friends or teachers in a comfortable way. I fear depression and stress will become a factor for many. With that said being overly stressed about their school work because they cannot navigate this system is unnecessary. For example the Home Page. This page provides access to the weeks work however there are also multiple posts so the teachers posts with weekly assignments get lost in the feed. Also there is no order at all to show you all the courses so you never know what all is to be completed each week. If you click on the courses tab not all courses are listed and the ones that are listed you never know which section to find the work itself. Teachers use this section differently. Some put things under plans, some under resources and some under tasks. So you end up having to check and search for your work. Search and dig to find each individual course and then search and dig within the courses to find where they put the work. This must be done for each subject, each teacher and each section making it insanely frustrating, confusing and next to impossible. This set up needs to be as simple and straightforward as possible so that it’s easy and fun to use. For example on the Home Page (list all the courses/subjects):

Math

Science

Social Studies

Writing

Reading

Music

P.E.

Art

Then make it so you can click on each item above. Once you do it takes you to a list of weeks in order by date with the current at the top. You then click on that week and it takes you to the assignment/lesson for the week. So simple and so easy to use. Also you can clearly see what you are responsible for each week in each subject so nothing gets lost. We are currently spending hours each week just trying to find their assignments. Then we have to rush through the work just to get completed in the short time frame available in the evening after work because the kids cannot use this on their own during the day and it’s too overwhelming/complicated for caregivers. I know this would be a complete redesign to which I know you probably can’t do at this point however it is beyond necessary. I apologize for the negativity towards your product but it has been a horrific experience thus far.
