Dashboard

In having a sneak peak of the new UX, it would be great to have the option to still use a coarse dashboard.  It was a great feature with the aggregated content blocks and connections to the planner. Consider giving teachers a choice.

I agree also it's not possible to remove the calendar. That's another point we don't like.

yes we have so many teachers using the dashboard for their classes. especially for all online classes that the bare bones dashboard is very limiting

I haven't seen the new UX yet but heard the dashboard was eliminated.  Makes me very nervous as many teachers haven't yet moved beyond the dashboard to add content.

I think the latest MOOC was using the new UX so take a look if you have not already seen it. Our staff also use the Dashboards a great and rarely use the calendar. Maybe there could be different options of what to display as a middle ground?

In complement to my post. The calendar function we does not have a prominently place in our dashboard because we have another application for timetables etc.

I have been able to use a demo site of the new UX.  A huge deterrent to switching to the new UX is the inability to customize the overview page, formerly the dashboard.  Please address this!!!!
