Increase capabilities with turnitin feature

I dislike that we can’t upload submissions on turnitin via itslearning. When my school previously had direct Tii accounts, we could. And I can still go directly to the Tii website and log on and access students uploaded assignments that way, but now we’ve lost the ability to upload something on behalf of a student. That feature was actually way more useful than I realized until I no longer had it.

For example: sometimes I would take some totally unrelated assignment (like reg classwork, not a formal essay) that I thought a kid had plagiarized and I could go randomly upload it in the place of some kid who like didn’t submit his vocab homework last month or something and do an informal plagiarism check w/o having to create an entirely new assignment. I sorely miss that capability.

1. Allow teachers to upload submissions on behalf of students

Hi, my best suggestion is that you hand in an assignment on behalf of the student. If needed you can set up an assignment for just one student. Hope this will do the trick 😊.
