  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.
  3. Unclear or inappropriate suggestions are removed. We may combine your ideas with similar ideas.
  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.
    • Ideas that have no public engagement after three years, that were not selected for development, are removed.
    • Ideas older than three years and not selected for implementation are removed.
    • Ideas can be resubmitted at any time.

Tilgang til lokale filer ved opplasting på Chromebook / ChromeOS

Når man skal laste opp filer i its, får man ikke tilgang til lokale filer på Chromebooken. Chromebook kommer nå etterhvert med større SSD-disker, og det kan være en del tilfeller der det er hensiktsmessig å jobbe lokalt. Kunne tenke meg å få tilgang til disse filene ved opplastning i its - uten først å laste dem opp i Google Disk.

    I agree, there is no reason why chromebook users should not be able to upload the submissions from their local storage, if they wish to do so. Removing this option makes no sense. Chromebooks today have a lot more storage space than a few years ago, and some people also use SD cards to store their files locally. Why force them to transfer their files from google drive, if it is less convenient for them? For me, at the support desk, dealing with this issue is just a complete and utterly meaningless waste of time. How am I to respond to students wondering why they need to upload their local files to the cloud, couple their google account to itslearning, and THEN transfer their files, rather than simply uploading them? Without draging the name of the vendor in the dirt? Nobody asked for this "feature"! Undo it now, please.
