Help shape the future of itslearning

Please share your ideas with the community, and contribute by voting and commenting on other ideas – the more votes the more influence! We consider all ideas when planning future work. Please write in English. For support, please contact your school/organization.

  1. As we review all ideas it may take some time before they appear. Unfortunately we cannot comment on all ideas.
  2. Please search for your idea first and vote for it! Do not create new suggestions if they already exist. It reduces your influence.

  4. We only use the information you share for the purposes of improving itslearning. We want to keep the ideas portal dynamic and relevant, to do this we remove older suggestions.

Submission declaration to comfirm authenticity of uploaded work

When students upload on itslearning I would like a box to appear that has a customisable message, which will essentially ask the students to agree to the statement contained in the box. The statement would be along the lines of

"I certify that the evidence submitted for this assignment is my own and that I have worked independently during this assessment. I have clearly referenced any sources used in the work. I understand that false declaration is a form of malpractice and that I may not be awarded with my qualification."

Currently, our students have to fill out an A4 form with every piece of work that they upload. It would be much better if there was a statement for learners to agree with, like there is on Moodle and other VLEs.

Thanks,

John

Is this idea been implemented? If so, how do we engage it?

I know this is an old idea, but we have been asked again only today for this feature!

I completely agree with this it is an important addition in FE and I would build on this by asking if we could choose whether to have a tick box or a box where a learner can import an image or their signature?
