Mathematical Formuale in Fill in the Blank test questions on itslearning

I am currently putting a maths unit into a Learning pathway on itslearning.

 

This consists of a MathsWatch video followed by a set of sample questions. I have been putting the numerical questions in as fill in the blanks with the answer as the blank.

 

I have a major problem which will limit the use of the test for science and maths. You can only use rudimentary text, no super or sub script so not x2 or Chemical formulae eg HCl2 can be used no underlining so limited use of division and not division symbol.

 

More complex text cannot be added by cut and paste either.
